Smith’s Gourmet Creations Food truck
The Owner and Executive Chef of Smith’s Gourmet Creations, Chef Antoine Smith always had the passion to cook. I guess you can call it hereditary. He started his culinary career by catering his mother’s surprise 50th birthday celebration back in 2006. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Livingstone College, his business side kicked in which led him to landing small catering jobs in his hometown of Winston-Salem, NC. One day in 2007 he read a book called, “Cooked,” by Chef Jeff Henderson and that sealed the deal on what he wanted to do in life. In 2008, he attended the prestigious Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC, where he became a certified chef.
