Most work parties fail the same way. Somebody books a hotel conference room with gray carpet, orders the catering package, and ends up with forty adults standing in a circle checking their phones until it is socially acceptable to leave.
A brewery fixes that by default. There is something to look at, something to do, and people spread out instead of standing in one clump.
What we host
- Holiday parties. The big one. Long tables, string lights, a buyout if you need the whole place
- Team dinners. Seated dinner right among the brewing tanks. Works for client dinners too
- Casino night. We have done it. Blackjack tables and a full bar on a buyout
- Offsites and team building. Three hours, AV for whatever you need to present, and a bar that opens when the working part ends
- End of year or end of project celebrations. Teacher groups, sales teams, contractors closing out a build
What it costs
Team dinner, 40 people, semi private
- Rental: $400 for 3 hours
- 2 drink package billed on 75% of your count: 30 guests x $15 = $450
- Outside caterer at $22 a head: $880
- About $1,730 before tax and gratuity, roughly $43 a head
Holiday party, 100 people, whole facility buyout
- Buyout starts at $3,000, and adding a drink package can take as much as $1,000 off that rental
- 3 drink package: 75 guests x $22 = $1,650
- Outside caterer at $25 a head: $2,500
- About $6,150, roughly $62 a head
Open bar is $27 a guest if you would rather not count tickets. Packages bill on at least 75% of your expected headcount, which is the number you should be budgeting against anyway.
The billing details your finance person will ask about
- Deposit is $100 semi private, $1,000 for a buyout, due at booking and applied to your total
- Cash, check or ACH adds no fee. Credit cards add 3% on the rental
- 6% sales tax on drink packages. Gratuity on top
- No cleaning fee, no booking fee, no drink minimum. What we quote is what you pay
- Reschedule at no charge if the new date is open and you tell us before the original date
Spaces and capacity
Semi private production area. Up to 50 guests, 3 hours, taproom stays open to the public. Right for team dinners and client events.
Whole facility buyout. Up to 225 guests. 200 inside, 75 on the dog friendly patio. We close to the public. Right for a company holiday party or anything where you want the room to be only your people.
Extra time on a semi private is $75 an hour. On a buyout it depends on the day's schedule.
AV, catering, and the stuff that makes it run
- Full AV setup with multiple displays. Slides, a year in review video, the game, or your own playlist
- Bring any licensed and insured caterer. They handle plates, napkins, cutlery and food ice. We can point you at people we trust if you do not have a caterer
- No outside alcohol, ever
- Pinball as a paid add-on in blocks of games, which quietly solves the awkward first 30 minutes
- We can rename a tap for your company or your team for the night. Ask for pricing
- Free onsite parking. Bag your trash and we handle the rest
A three hour agenda that works
- First 45 minutes. Arrival, drinks, food out. No program. This is where the actual networking happens
- Next 15 minutes. Remarks. Fifteen minutes. Not forty. If you have awards, run them tight and name the presenter in advance
- The rest. Open. Arcade, patio, bar. People leave when they want to, which is the point
Put a junior person on the door with the headcount list so your leadership is not doing logistics.
Book December in September
Holiday party dates go first and they go fast. If you want the first or second week of December, or any Friday or Saturday in December, book it now. We can take a date as little as one week out when the space is open, but December is not the month to test that.
