Booking & Payment
How far in advance do I need to book?
As little as one week out if the space is available. For weekend dates or a whole buyout, earlier is better.
What does it cost?
Semi-private space starts at $400. A whole facility buyout starts at $3,000. Your exact quote depends on the day of the week, guest count, and whether you add a drink package. We'll walk you through the breakdown once you reach out.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. $100 for semi-private events, $1,000 for whole facility buyouts. It's due at booking to hold your date and is non-refundable, applied toward your total.
What if I need to change my date or cancel?
You can reschedule at no charge if the new date is available and you notify us before your original event date. Your deposit carries over. If you cancel outright, the deposit is forfeited. No refunds for no-shows or early departure.
How do I pay?
Cash, check, or ACH with no added fee. Credit cards are accepted for the balance, with a 3% processing fee on the rental. Gratuity and 6% sales tax on drink packages apply on top.
Space & Capacity
How many people can you hold?
Our semi-private space (production area) seats 35 comfortably, with a max of 50 guests. A whole facility buyout holds 200 inside, and up to 250 total with the patio.
Is the taproom still open to the public during my event?
For semi-private events, yes. You get the production area while the taproom stays open. For a whole facility buyout, we close to the public for your event.
How much time do we get?
Both options include 3 hours of event time. Need more? Additional time for semi-private events is $75/hr, and additional time for a buyout is available based on the day's schedule.
Is Schoolhouse Brewing kid-friendly?
Yes, we're family-friendly. Kids are welcome, and they just need to be supervised at all times.
Food & Drink
What drink options do you have?
Beyond our craft beer, we pour house red and white wine, homemade sangria, margaritas, fresh cider, hard lemonade, and a rotating hard seltzer flavor. You can also add a drink package: 2-Drink ($15/guest), 3-Drink ($22/guest), or Open Bar ($27/guest, wristbands included). Packages are billed on at least 75% of your expected guest count.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
No outside liquor, wine, beer, or drinks of any kind are allowed on site.
Can we bring in outside food or a caterer?
Yes. Bring in a caterer of your choice as long as they're licensed and insured. The caterer or purchaser handles plates, napkins, cutlery, and food-related ice.
What do drink tickets cover?
Each ticket covers a full or half pour of beer, a soft drink, a glass of wine, or a pour of cider or seltzer. Snacks, premium sodas, and THC-infused beverages aren't included.
Is there an age policy?
Yes, guests must be 21+ to drink. Serving alcohol to anyone under 21 is grounds for immediate cancellation of the event.
Logistics & Extras
Is there parking?
Yes, onsite parking is available for your guests.
Can we decorate?
Yes, you're welcome to decorate with signs, balloons, and similar items during your event time. Glitter and confetti aren't allowed, and all decor needs to be removed by the end of your rental time.
Who handles cleanup?
Just bag up your trash and we'll take it from there. Our staff handles the rest.
What's the entertainment setup?
We have a full AV setup with multiple displays for slideshows, sports, or your own playlist. Want to add pinball? It's available as a paid add-on, sold in blocks of games. We can also rename one of our taps in your honor for the night, also an add-on. Ask us for pricing on either.
Are we responsible for damages?
You're responsible for any damage to the venue, fixtures, or equipment caused by your guests or vendors beyond normal wear and tear.
